SHINE Youth Festival 2010

"Have you ever found yourself becoming so longing to do something outta' the norm of life, together with your friends, and wished that would come true?" The rest of the world just seemed to fade away and all I could do was to indulge in the experience of  SHINE Youth Festival 2010 at *SCAPE.

COSMO 2010 by Mascot Parade

 Forget about traveling half-way around the globe, when you have sucha' colorful parade of cos-players, here in sunny island Singapore. The empty space turned out to be full of live. AWESOME. No doubt, at all!



Looks like I was gonna get walloped by this mascot but I managed to convince him that he was cutter than me, which led to success of the next photo.  (Psst... Nice words attract!)



See, he wants to give me a hug too! Aww!!!



To my surprise, Zhi Hao, was there too. Check out his tomato-red hair!



If a bunny can hop around like there are no cares in the world... So can this guy below.



I always stand in amazement at people who can balance on such stuff. Probably his girlfriend challenged him to pick up this as a hobby. You know, girls are champion shoppers! They can walk the shopping malls in their six inch high heeled-shoes".

If all that striking display and parade wasn't enough, we went opposite to SCAPE* park to catch Benjamin Khoh sing live. It was my first time hearing him sing and Boy, he was good. Jeremy, who sang with him has an angelic voice. Well done both of you.



p/s: I really confused myself into thinking that the beauty pageant and the singing was one whole event, only to find out from Benjamin Khoh that they were the ones who were supposed to bring the event to a closing. That makes the photo above, a random photo because the "judges" and  the "singers" have absolutely nothing to do with each other. LOL. 





Glitterati + bloggers after a NESCAFE break and just in time for the Shine Youth Festival 2010. There was free-flow of NESCAFE to get ourselves pumped for the exciting events that came after. :)



Gundam Cosplayer for the Gundam Caravan!




I guess I'd use this picture as a motivation for me to drink sufficient water. Enough of me, for now... I guess his name is CLIVE. (Cosplay-ing is not as easy as it seems, I suppose. Hmm... but if you think you got what it takes you should try it out!! Just do.)

The Muttons got the heat started on the floor after the Shine Youth Organising Committee arrived for the opening act.

Then the crowd bust out roaring when Joyce and the boys came on stage. It was off the hook, I was blown away by their performance.













The SHINE graffiti artists were still at work on Saturday. I couldn't help just imagining about their progress at home so I grabbed along some awesome friends with me to SCAPE* the following afternoon.

I wonder how long do those guys took to be finally be "satisfied" with the outcome. See the progress for yourself.













Thousands of candles can be lit from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not shorten. Happiness never decreases when shared.
